Which size should I buy?
Queen (60 × 80) is the default for couples. Buy King if you want more width, Cal King if you are tall and the room is deep, Twin XL for dorms or Split King adjustable bases.
Will a boxed mattress smell?
A light foam scent for 24–48 hours is normal. Unpack in a ventilated room. Saatva models are not compressed, so they off-gas much less.
Can I use an adjustable base?
Yes for the hybrids and most foams we sell. Split King (two Twin XLs) is the cleanest setup if two people want different head or foot angles. Saatva Classic and every Bear model offer Twin XL.
What sheets fit a 14-inch mattress?
Use deep-pocket sheets rated 16–18 inches for DreamCloud Premier, Bear Star, Bear Elite, and Saatva Classic.
Do I need a new bed frame?
If slats are more than 3 inches apart, or the frame already bows, yes — that voids many mattress warranties. Shop bed frames for published slat spacing and weight ratings. Match Twin through Cal King to the mattress size.
