Fit the room, then the sleeper
Mattress size guide
Queen is the default for most couples shopping mattresses for sale. Measure the wall, leave walking space, and remember Cal King is longer — not wider — than King. Shopping Twin XL or Full? Jump to our Twin XL collection or Full mattresses.
| Size | Dimensions | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Twin | 38" × 75" | Kids rooms, bunks, and guest rooms. |
| Twin XL | 38" × 80" | Dorm beds and Split King setups. Same width as Twin, five inches longer. |
| Full / Double | 54" × 75" | Solo sleepers who want more width than a Twin. |
| Queen ★ | 60" × 80" | The most popular size — fits most bedrooms and couples. |
| King | 76" × 80" | Maximum width for couples. Same length as Queen. |
| California King | 72" × 84" | Four inches longer and four inches narrower than King. Ideal for tall sleepers. |
| Split King | 76" × 80" | Two Twin XL mattresses side by side. Independent firmness and easier to move. |
Match the frame to the same size as the mattress. Most of our frames use slats 3 inches apart or less so foam and hybrid warranties stay valid. See the bed frames catalog for spacing, weight ratings, and Split King bases.
