Mattress under $1,000: Queen and King that actually exist

Under $1,000 you can buy real Queens from $599 and real Kings from $799. Sealy hybrid Queen $999 is the coil door. Casper King is not in this band.

Couple comparing a queen foam mattress and a king hybrid in a warehouse
Cocoon Chill by Sealy cooling foam mattress
Cocoon Queen $649 and King $849 both sit under $1,000.

Mattress under $1,000 is where most of this warehouse earns its keep. Queen and King beds that actually exist under that line, with names, trials, and prices you can read on a phone. Haven Sleep Co. will not slide a Saatva Classic Queen $1839 into this article with a fake 70 percent off. We will not call Purple Restore Hybrid Queen $1799 an under-$1,000 mattress because a holiday email said so. On 2 September 2026 the filter /mattresses?max=1000 is a construction list, not a mood.

A mattress in this band still has to hold a spine through sleep. Under $1,000 is not code for disposable. Bear Original Queen $599 is a 10-year-warranty foam on a proper platform. Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Queen $999 is a lumbar hybrid. Nectar Queen $699 includes a 365-night trial. Those are different products that share a price ceiling. This page names the Queen and King SKUs that fit, names the ones that do not, and tells you when to leave the ceiling for Purple, Saatva, Tempur, or Helix.

Queen under $1,000 that exists

Bear Original Queen $599. Firmer foam, Celliant, 120 nights. Stomach, back, athletes. Twin $449 and Twin XL $499 if you are still in the under $500 world. King $799 — also under $1,000.

Tuft & Needle Original Queen $625. Adaptive foam, 100 nights. Back/stomach, people who disliked slow memory foam. Twin $375, King $825.

Cocoon Chill by Sealy Queen $649. Cooling cover, medium-firm foam, 100 nights. Mild heat. Twin $399, King $849.

Nectar Classic Queen $699. Memory foam hug, 365 nights. Side sleepers, motion isolation. Twin $349, King $899.

GhostBed Classic Queen $745. Gel foam plus latex, 101 nights, 20-year warranty. Quieter than coils, quicker than Nectar.

Casper The One Queen $899. Zoned foam, 100 nights. Combination sleepers. King $1319 is over $1,000 — Queen fits, King does not.

Leesa Original Queen $899. Balanced foam, 100 nights, guest-friendly medium.

Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Queen $999. The hybrid that still qualifies. Lumbar, coils, 100 nights. King on this model does not sit at $999; check the King variant before you assume it made the cut.

That is the Queen under-$1,000 set we will defend. Purple Queen $1799, Saatva Queen $1839, TEMPUR-Adapt, Helix Midnight Luxe, Brooklyn Titan, WinkBed luxury hybrids — other pages. Sale might mark a Queen down; it still will not turn Saatva into $999 without saying so as a true markdown on a specific unit.

King under $1,000 that exists

King is wider money. The Kings that still fit: Bear Original $799, Tuft & Needle $825, Cocoon Chill $849, Nectar Classic $899. Those four are the King under-$1,000 foam cluster. GhostBed King, when stocked, needs the product page — we will not invent it here. Casper King $1319 is out. Leesa King is out on typical tagging. Sealy Hybrid King is out. Purple King is out. Saatva King is out.

If you need King coils under $1,000, this warehouse does not currently hand you that SKU. Options: stay with King foam in the cluster; stay Queen hybrid Sealy $999; save for a King hybrid; Split King two Twin XL foams (Bear Twin XL $499 × 2 = $998) if the construction can split. Split King hybrids cost more.

On a phone, toggle Queen and King. Both prices must stay readable. Queen $699 next to King $899 on Nectar is the comparison households actually text. Do not screenshot only Queen and order King from memory.

What you give up above $1,000, and what you do not have to

Above $1,000 you are usually buying coils with a fancier top, a grid, latex, uncompressed delivery, plus-size units, or Tempur density. You are not automatically buying “better sleep.” A hot sleeper on Nectar Queen $699 may need Purple $1799. A back sleeper on Bear Queen $599 may already be done. A couple on T&N Queen $625 who want sit-edge may need Sealy Queen $999 — still under the line — not Saatva $1839.

Trials under $1,000 still run 100 to 365 nights. Nectar’s year is the standout. GhostBed 101. Bear 120. Most others 100. Use them. Sleep trial. Warranties still die on slats wider than three inches. Haven White Oak Platform. Frames. A $625 Queen on a broken metal frame is a $625 valley.

Cooling under $1,000: Chill Queen $649, GhostBed Queen $745, Sealy hybrid Queen $999, Bear Pro if it tags under your personal cap — Pro Queen is $899 in our hybrid lineup when we stock it, still a named Bear. Grid cooling is Purple money. Latex white-glove is Saatva money. Gel print is not a plan.

Firm under $1,000: Bear, T&N, Chill, Sealy hybrid. Firm filter. Side-sleeper hug under $1,000: Nectar, GhostBed, Casper, Leesa. Plus-size under $1,000: generally no. Titan and WinkBed live higher. Do not make Bear Queen $599 do Titan’s job.

How to shop this band without getting played

Ignore fireworks. Read the type line. Foam versus hybrid is the first fork. Heat versus hug is the second. Queen versus King is the third — room and stairs. Size guide. Quiz. Solutions.

Compare Nectar $699 and GhostBed $745 if you want foam quiet. Compare Bear $599 and Sealy $999 if you want support and cannot decide foam versus coils. Compare Chill $649 and Sealy $999 if heat is the job and hybrid money is available. Compare.

How to order. Boxed for everything in this table. Two people on Queen, more care on King. Delivery. Returns. Reviews. FAQ. Contact. About. Bedding protectors that breathe. Mattresses with max price on.

Do not add a $300 gel topper to a $625 Queen to “make it luxury.” You may make it hot and void a feel you already liked. If you need a different construction, buy the construction.

Guest rooms: T&N Queen $625 or Leesa $899 or Twin Chill $399. Primary beds: match position. Kids: Twin under $500 article.

Mobile: Queen price in the buy box is the number we stand behind. If King is selected, King must replace it, same type size. If a layout ever fails that, we want to know. Shopping under $1,000 from a phone is normal. Tiny strikethrough theater is not our style.

How this website is supposed to work under a thousand dollars

Start at all mattresses. Set max price to $1,000. Set size to Queen if that is the room. The grid should show Bear, T&N, Chill, Nectar, GhostBed, Casper, Leesa, Sealy hybrid — not Purple, not Saatva Classic, not TEMPUR-Adapt. If those luxury SKUs appear, the filter failed and we want contact. Add type Memory Foam or Hybrid if you already know the fork. Add firmness firm if you sleep on your stomach. Add issue hot if August is the plot.

Open a product. The Queen price must be readable without pinch-zoom. Variant chips for Twin, Twin XL, Queen, King should not hide the number in a 9-point footnote. Add a frame with slats at three inches or less. Add a protector from bedding if kids or allergies are involved. Use how to order as the checklist, not as decoration.

Compare is for two or three SKUs, not nine. Nectar Queen $699 versus GhostBed Queen $745 is a real comparison. Nectar versus Saatva is a construction comparison you already know if you read the price. Quiz if two sleepers will not agree. Solutions if you can name the ache. Reviews from people who mention size and position. FAQ for trial length. Trials in this band are still 100 to 365 nights. Nectar’s year is why nervous Queen shoppers stop at $699 instead of gambling at $399 on a site that does not exist here.

Delivery is boxed. Delivery will not bring a white-glove coil unit at these prices unless you left the filter. Unbox with two people on Queen. King foam under $1,000 (Bear $799, T&N $825, Chill $849, Nectar $899) still needs a landing that accepts a King carton. If it does not, Split King two Twin XLs or stay Queen Sealy $999.

Returns: returns. Do not cut handles into the foam. Do not stain the cover with an experiment. Photograph the slat gaps before you argue sag. Jordan’s warehouse will ask for those photos because the warranty is a foundation contract.

What under $1,000 will not buy: GelFlex grid at Purple Queen $1799, uncompressed dual-coil at Saatva Queen $1839, Tempur density, plus-size Titan coils, Helix Midnight Luxe pillow-top. Those beds solve problems this band sometimes cannot. Buy them when the problem is real, not because a banner said you deserve luxury. This store will still be here with Bear Queen $599 when the problem is a dead mattress and a real budget.
